Radiant Spirits

In Radiant Spirits, three projections are screened on three different walls, building a space of fiction around the viewers. The main purpose is for the spectators to enter the story and place themselves in relation to the fiction. The three projections show sometimes different points of view of the same action, sometimes other simultaneous scenes. The spectators follow the character of a woman (my Blood sister) wandering in a hotel suite from one room to another, from one scene to another to face her own fantasies. In front of her and the spectators, actors perform erotic scenes that seem to come out of the dreams and the imagination of this woman. In the middle of the exhibition space are two deck chairs on which are placed video glasses. The spectators are thus prompted to lie down to watch the videos. In the glasses is shown a scene shot in a close-up, with an orgy of bodies mixing endlessly. This constitutes another dream, a more secret one, piercing through the fiction.
This project is the fourth part of a body of work begun three years ago. It is a complement to the installations Training Lounge, Reflecting Home and Until nothing can reach us.
